Member founded and governed since 1947, SLOCEA fights for their members at the negotiating table and represents individuals in labor related issues.
Who Are We?
Member Founded
Founded in 1947 by a group of less than 50 County employees, SLOCEA now represents more than 1,500 members County-wide.
Member Governed
Members elect the Board of Directors, Negotiating Teams, and vote to accept or reject Memoranda of Understanding (employment contracts.)
Local Control
SLOCEA is completely independent, so your dues stay right here in SLO County, funding your membership benefits and keeping you, the members, in control of your Association.
Membership Dues
SLOCEA’s dues structure was built to ensure all members dues are equitable and affordable.
Monthly dues are 1% of the member’s regular gross bi-weekly wages, with a $45 biweekly maximum.
