Collective Bargaining

2022 Contract Negotiations

Public employees are grouped into different bargaining units, based on common job duties or interests. A bargaining unit is represented by a single labor union for collective bargaining and other matters. SLOCEA negotiates contracts for all employees in our bargaining units, not just the members.

SLOCEA is the exclusive representative for the following bargaining units:

County of San Luis Obispo

  • Public Services (BU 01)

  • Supervisory ( BU 05)

  • Clerical (BU 13)

  • Trades, Crafts & Services (BU 02)

Non-County Bargaining Units:

  • Superior Court Supervisors

  • Los Osos Community Services District
