This benefit was negotiated by SLOCEA for County employees in the bargaining units above.

What is it?

  • County contributions of $50 per month for each eligible employee are placed in the employee’s PEHP account with Nationwide Retirement Solutions.

    • This contribution can be found on your remuneration statement, under the Employer Paid section, labeled PEHP SLOCEA.

  • After separation of service, the PEHP account can be used to pay qualified medical expenses that are not covered by health insurance, including glasses, prescription drugs, premiums, co-pays and deductibles.

  • Contributions are tax-free.
