SLOCEA Endorses Clint Weirick for Grover Beach City Council
The San Luis Obispo County Employees' Association (SLOCEA) is proud to endorse Clint Weirick for Grover Beach City Council in the upcoming election. The Association, which represents 1,700 public employees in San Luis Obispo County, believes Weirick's commitment to community service, his current experience serving as a Grover Beach City Councilmember, and his dedication to improving local government make him the ideal candidate to represent the residents of Grover Beach.
“We are happy to support Clint Weirick in his candidacy for Grover Beach City Council,” said SLOCEA Executive Director, Emily Landis. “Clint has demonstrated a strong understanding of the challenges facing our community and has a proven track record of advocating for policies that support working families and enhance the quality of life in our area.”
Weirick, a Central Coast native and long-time community advocate, has pledged to prioritize economic development, public safety, and sustainable infrastructure in Grover Beach. His focus on building a more resilient local economy and improving city services resonates with SLOCEA members, many of whom live and work in the area.
“I’m proud to have SLOCEA’s endorsement for my Grover Beach City Council District 4 campaign to continue serving on the City Council.” said Clint Weirick. “Their members are tirelessly serving our city, its residents, businesses, and nonprofits daily through a variety of county professions such as social services, public health, behavioral health, veterans services, etc. that are making a positive difference in people’s lives here. Grover Beach is fortunate to have many of them calling our city their home and I’m committed to working to improve their lives so they can continue their critical public service to our county.”
He further emphasized “Being born and raised here in Grover Beach, I’m dedicated to making our city the best it can be for all and look forward to working with our residents to find and advocate for solutions so they can live their daily lives with peace of mind. I humbly ask for their vote on or before November 5th, 2024.”
