2025 Negotiating Teams Appointed by the Board of Directors

From the SLOCEA Board of Directors

The SLOCEA Board of Directors has officially appointed the 2025 Negotiating Teams! This year, we received nominations from many outstanding candidates, making the selection process both competitive and inspiring.

The Board’s primary goal for the 2025 negotiation cycle was to assemble balanced, energetic teams composed of members with a strong history of activism and engagement with SLOCEA. Witnessing the enthusiasm and passion of all the nominees has been incredibly motivating for our leadership. We encourage all members to stay informed and get involved in future opportunities to serve our Association.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who submitted a nomination. Your dedication to SLOCEA’s mission and our members is truly appreciated!

Selection Process Recap

The nomination period closed on October 9, 2024. Candidates had the opportunity to present their qualifications and vision to the Board of Directors, either in person at the October General Membership Meeting or virtually via Zoom at a subsequent meeting.

The SLOCEA Executive Officers carefully reviewed each nominee’s submission, along with feedback provided by the Directors. After thoughtful deliberation, the Executive Officers submitted their recommendations to the Board for consideration.

At the November 20, 2024, Board of Directors meeting, the Board voted to appoint the 2025 Negotiating Teams. All nominees were notified of the decision via email, and we are excited to announce the teams to our membership in this article.
